Kasilof River Fishing Fantastic King Salmon Fishing on the Kasilof River! Fishing the Kasilof River is steadily becoming the first choice among anglers choosing to
fight the mighty King Salmon, much less crowded than the Kenai River and as of late a much more productive fishery. You'll find yourself on an all day (8-10 hour) relaxing drift down the Kasilof River, enjoying the abundant wildlife, beautiful scenery, and partaking in the pure excitement of hooking up and landing a world-class King Salmon.
King Salmon fishing on the Kasilof River begins around the middle of May with the arrival of the first-run of kings comprising of both wild and hachery salmon. During this period (May - mid June) anglers are allowed to keep two salmon on most days. The fishing is outstanding with opportunities to hook up with 10 or more King Salmon! The second run of King Salmon begins late June and peaks around the third week in July. During the second run the fishing is exceptionally exciting with opportunities of landing 50-60lb King Salmon! Our Kasilof River fishing trips are perfect for all ages and abilities. You can book an individual fishing trip or you can package this trip along with our many other fishing charters.

a world-record catch weighing in at 97.4 lbs. Our Kenai River charters are typically full day (8 hour) charters. Our Kenai guides are among the most friendly and experienced guides on the river.
