Alaska Black Bear Hunting Our Alaska black bear vessel based hunting trips depart out of Homer, Alaska. Our 32ft custom sportfishing/hunting vessel is geared to comfortably sleep 3 and can accommodate 4 if neccessary. We typically cater to small groups of 2-3 hunters. In the spring we travel 3 hours out of Homer to some of the best black bear hunting ground in Alaska. Across Kachemak Bay along the outer coast of the Kenai Peninsula is home to the highest population density of black bears in the world. Our black bear hunts offer an outstanding opportunity to see an incredible amount of black bears while glassing aboard our floating, mobile base camp. Once you spot a black bear you wish to stalk we quietly ferry you to shore and the stalk begins. Extremely exciting! We are fanatic hunters ourselves and love nothing more than to take good people out hunting.
